/ Investment Criteria
Investing in our Section 12J company is simple, with the following investment criteria:
- Investment amount: A minimum investment of R1,000.00 applies
- Investment period: A minimum investment period of 5 years applies which has to be invested within 3 years.
- Tax Saving: The immediate tax saving will be at the marginal rate.
- Investment limit: The investor and VCC may not invest more than a 20% stake in a qualifying company.
- Exit costs: Capital Gains Tax might be payable on exit.
- Investments exclusions: Section 12J companies are prohibited to make investments into FSP’s, Property Investment, financial professions, any trade in gambling, tobacco, liquor and ammunition.
